Ode to my lost hoodie
Even though I did not have you so long
You were green and soft and had a hood
I never used that hood
But you comforted me when I was low
And your big pockets gave me somewhere
to store the remote
Even though they were too big because
my phone kept falling out
And you had string things that dangled
Even though I had no idea what they did
Something to do with the hood?
Then one day you left me.
